On the night of Buffy Ann Summers seventeenth birthday she was given a gift and it was the best night of her life, but the vampire that loved her, Angel turned into Angelus because if Angel has one true moment of happiness his soul is uplifted and Angelus is set loose.

Buffy is forced to send her one true love to hell. Angelus had opened the Hell mouth and the only way to close it is the person or thing's blood that opened it, Buffy was forced to send Angel into it. {Buffy I fill like I haven't seen you for months. Angel I Love you, I love you. Shh.. every things going to be ok, close your eyes} Angel did as he was told as Buffy gave him one last kiss goodbye and he was pushed into the Hell mouth.} Buffy is heartbroken over her lost love but months later he returns from hell and they are together again.

Buffy and Angel learn to trust and love each other again. Until Angel wants Buffy to live a normal life, but being a slayer, she will truly never live a normal life. {Buffy I'm leaving. Where will you go? I'm not sure yet, but Buffy I will never be able to give you what you deserve. You deserve to be in the light, something that I can never give you. I'm leaving after graduation. I' I I have to go Buffy wait.. No I can't believe Angel after all we've been through.} Buffy left broken hearted that night and Angel stayed and fought and left, leaving a broken Buffy.

Buffy goes on in her life attending her slayer duties and slowly starts to let herself love again. That's when she meets Riley.

Even though Angel is no longer in Buffy's life he still comes when she needs him. On the night of her mother's funeral. {How are you feeling pretty needy right now. I can take the neediness. Buffy and Angel kiss slowly pulling away I told you I was needy Buffy I will stay as long as you like, how's forever? Looks like I can stay a little while longer before daybreak. Good Buffy lays her head on Angels shoulder falling asleep.
